Jeff Tweedy’s Illinois Drive-In (A Gallery)

Jeff Tweedy returned to the Chicago area on Friday, June 4, playing to a parking lot full of cars and adoring fans after a many-month hiatus during COVID.
For this performance, Tweedy was joined by his son Spencer on drums as well as James Elkington on lead guitar.
The 29 song show included many covers and Tweedy originals, yet Tweedy saved the best for last, closing with the beloved “California Stars.”
