WinterWonderGrass Detail Grass After Dark Performers: Pixie & The Partygrass Boys, Neal Francis, Sicard Hollow and More
WinterWonderGrass has revealed the artists that will take the stage in California and Colorado for the festival’s late-night music series Grass After Dark. The after-hours shows will occur at various local venues and will feature appearances from Pixie & The Partygrass Boys, Sicard Hollow, Neal Francis and more.
The first iteration of Grass After Dark will kick off in Steamboat Springs, Colo., on March 3, after the opening night of WinterWonderGrass Steamboat Springs. The evening will see performances from the Kitchen Dwellers and Unit 14 at the Grand Ballroom at Steamboat Grand; Pixie & The Partygrass Boys and Sicard Hollow will keep the party rolling at Schmiggity’s Live Music & Dance Bar, while Trout Steak Revival closes out the night at Thunderhead Lodge. On March 4, festival-goers can catch sets from The Lil Smokies and Tenth Mountain Division at the Grand Ballroom, Neal Francis (with a special guest TBA) at Schmiggity’s, and Big Richard at Thunderhead Lodge. Finally, on March 5, Leftover Salmon will headline a final show at the Grand Ballroom, joined by Saints and Liars.
Grass After Dark will pick back up for three days on the west coast following WinterWonderGrass in Palisades Tahoe, Calif., starting on March 31. The Brothers Comatose will start things off at the Olympic Valley Lodge that evening. Pixie & The Partygrass Boys, The Sweet Lillies and Sicard Hollow will also make Friday-night appearances at Moe’s Original BBQ, while Mapache takes the stage at The Plaza Bar. Grass After Dark will continue on April 1 at the same venues: Olympic Valley Lodge will host appearances from Pickin’ on the Dead and Cris Jacobs Band, Dusty Green Bones Band will keep the night moving at Moe’s Original BBQ, and Neal Francis and Big Richard are set to jam at the Plaza Bar. WinterWonderGrass will celebrate its final night of festivities at the Olympic Valley Lodge with a special all-star show hosted by Lindsay Lou and Friends on April 2.
