Wilco’s Mexico Destination Event Sky Blue Sky Announces 2023 Return

Wilco announced their destination event Sky Blue Sky, will return to The Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya in Cancún, Mexico, on Dec. 3-6 of 2023. The four-day all-inclusive event will feature three sets by the iconic American rock band along with a new of talented special guests.

“Sky Blue Sky is something we feel lucky we get to do, and look forward to every time we put one together,” said Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy in a statement. “We love sharing music with our friends, and we love getting together with everyone in the sun. It’s nice to step out from under the clouds every now and then.”

Along with Wilco’s three sets, Sky Blue Sky will feature performances by Father John Misty, Sylvan Esso, Lucinda Williams, Waxahatchee, Kevin Morby, a solo set by Tweedy, Built To Spill
Makaya McCraven, Cate Le Bon, Bartees Strange, The Autumn Defense, Eucademix and Mint Field.

Notably, for the third edition of Sky Blue Sky, the event will offer the option to stay at the suites at Hard Rock Hotel, where the event has a full takeover or at the upgraded suites at UNICO 20°87° Resort, though only a very limited number of upgraded suites at the appointed luxury resort–located just a 15-minute ride from Hard Rock–will be available. Complimentary door-to-door shuttle service to Hard Rock for event-curated shows and activities is included.

Sky Blue Sky has once again partnered with the charitable organization Positive Legacy to integrate live music and service by taking actions that positively impact the local community and the environment during the event. Positive Legacy has made an impact in the Riviera Maya region by providing emergency hunger relief, medical and school supplies, building playgrounds and community gardens, extensive beach cleanups, and improving the infrastructure of the largest turtle sanctuary in the Yucatan.

Pre-sale for returning guests will open on March 21, and the public on-sale will launch on March 22 at 1 p.m. ET. Learn more and find tickets to Sky Blue Sky here.
