Tedeschi Trucks have announced they will be playing together as a full band for the first time since March of 2020, during their festival at LOCKN’ Farm in Arrington, Va. The festival will take place from Aug. 27 through 29.

Though Tedeschi Trucks has persevered through the last year and a half through the Fireside: Live sessions and outdoor shows, the full 12-piece ensemble has yet to fully assemble. Tedeschi Trucks has noticeably left out the word “band” in their billings in honor of the fact that during the times that members of the full band aren’t present they aren’t really Tedeschi Trucks Band.

When the Tedeschi Trucks Band reunites at LOCKN’ farm they’ll be welcoming New Orleans’ Issac Eady who will be holding down half the band’s famous double-drum attack, along with Tyler “Falcon” Greenwell for the first time.

Kebbi Williams, Ephraim Owens and Elizabeth Lea, the three powerhouse players that compile the Tedeschi Trucks horns section will also be there to show a musical connection that can only be forged through thousands of hours of performing, recording and living together.

Alecia Chakour and Mark Rivers, the singers that give Tedeschi Trucks Band’s harmonies such intense soul along with Mike Mattison and Susan Tedeschi will be linking up at LOCKN’ Farm as well.

John Batiste, Gabe Dixon Band, Lettuce and The Marcus King Band will also be performing sets over the weekend.
