Shakori Hills Grassroots Festival of Music & Dance Unveil Initial Artist Lineup for 18th Annual Fall Event: Donna the Buffalo, Eric Krasno, Driftwood and More

Shakori Hills Grassroots Festival of Music and Dance has unveiled its initial artist lineup for the fall edition of the beloved 4-day weekend event, set to take place from Oct. 6 through 9 in Pittsboro, N.C. This year marks the 18th take on the festival, which emphasizes a range of genres drenched in a groove that’s meant for movement. 

The folks behind the event have shared the first round of artists joining them in the Old North State this autumn, including many of the weekend’s musical guests who are scheduled to hit the stage for multiple sets during the extended affair. Driftwood, Jimkata and Hayley Jane are amongst the arts who have signed on for double sets. 

Additionally, Shakori Hills Grassroots Festival of Music and Dance also revealed Donna the Buffalo, Eric Krasno (featuring Otis McDonald and Eric Finland), Kaleta & Super Yamba Band, Dr. Bacon, The Bones of J.R. Jones, Ellis Dyson & The Shambles and The Get Right Band have all signed on for single set performances. 

In addition to amble musical performances, Shakori Hills Grassroots Festival of Music and Dance also offers a variety of family-friendly activities, dining options, a range of craft vendors and healing arts.
