Park City Song Summit Outlines Sophomore Lineup: Bobby Weir, Anders Osborne, Eric Krasno and More
Park City Song Summit has shared the artist lineup for their 2023 event. After a successful inaugural year in 2022, the festival’s second iteration will take place Sept. 7 through 9 at The Canyons Village ski resort in Park City, Utah.
Park City Song Summit 2023 will welcome a multi-genre mix of artists to lead intimate conversations about their craft and dish out live sets across the resort community. Headlining are musicians such as Bobby Weir & Wolf Bros, featuring The Wolfpack, Public Enemy frontman Chuck D and Eric Krasno & Friends.
Other top-billing acts on the roster include singer-songwriter Joy Oladokun, Ramblin’ Jack Elliott, Anders Osborne, Matisyahu and St. Paul and The Broken Bones’ Paul Janeway. Hip-hop icons Grandmaster Flash and Darryl McDaniels are also slated to take the stage, along with songwriter Adia Victoria, Steve Poltz, Adia Victoria, Jeffery Steele, Earl Bud Lee and New Orleans’ Brad Walker & The Hornstars.,
Additional sets are expected from Cimafunk, Black Opry Revue, Danny Myrick, Daniel Ponder, Devon Gilfillian, Even Stevens, Joe Pug, Josh Blaylock, Josh Jenkins, Madeline Hawthorne, Matt Warren, Megan Linville, Ruby Amanfu, Sam Ashworth, Steve Poltz, Sinclair, Steele Fountain and Travis Howard.
On top of the live music, fans will also be invited to attend a series of Summit Labs. These artist-led panels will occur throughout the weekend and explore strategies for songwriting and personal wellness. Topics for this year’s panels will include the 50th anniversary of hip-hip, the tangled roots of Lantix and Black music, funk music in New Orleans and Havana, a tribute to Stevie Wonder, Women and the Blues and more.
Single-show tickets and festival passes for Park City Song Summit 2023 will be available for pre-sale beginning Thursday, May 4, on the festival website. General on-sale will follow on Thursday, May 11.
