The Newport Folk Festival has begun to unveil its 2020 lineup, beginning with today’s announcement that Big Thief will return to the Rhode Island event. The festival will take place Jul. 31 – Aug. 3 in Newport, R.I.

“We’re pleased to announce that Big Thief is returning to the Fort this summer to join our 2020 Friday lineup. Newport Festivals Foundation has made a donation on behalf of Big Thief to Daniel’s Music Foundation which empowers individuals with developmental and physical disabilities through music,” wrote the festival via a Facebook post.
