Early this morning, Andy Frasco & The U.N. played their set at Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in Manchester, Tenn. As an unannounced bonus, the ensemble welcomed Connecticut jamband Goose to the stage during their hour-long lively performance, which was entirely played in the key of E.
The gig took place in the This Tent from 1:15 through 2:15 a.m. There, the two explosive bands dug into tight jams and rock-heavy beats during one of the final performances on the opening day of Bonnaroo. See videos below.
During the action-packed set, the crew of seasoned musicians jammed through a number of tunes, and at times allowed their instruments to take lead and ad-lib. This morning’s memorable performance preludes Goose’s take over of the This Stage, from 1 a.m. through 3 a.m., on the second day of Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival.
