Echoland Music Festival Cancels Debut Event
Today, Echoland Music Festival announced it will no longer take place this year due to unforeseen circumstances that it cannot overcome. The festival was set to hold its first-ever gathering at Live Oak, Fla.’s the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park and Campground, on May 11 through 13, 2023.
Upon announcing the festival, organizers said, “Echoland will highlight a wide range of local and national jam bands, folk, and indie artists, including various art installations and experiences throughout the park.” They went on to detail a full lineup with performers like Tyler Childers presenting an Echoland exclusive magical collaborative set, Vulfpeck, and Phil Lesh & Friends, alongside Robert Plant and Alison Krauss, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Tenacious D and more.
The festival’s Instagram page, which had amassed 10,000 followers, has removed all posts, and the festival’s website now simply reads, “Echoland Music Festival will no longer take place this year. While we have done everything we can do to bring our wild & wonderful world to the banks of the Suwannee river, we have encountered some unforeseen circumstances that we cannot overcome.” They went on to say, “Tickets purchased from Front Gate Tickets will be automatically refunded in as little as 30 days.”
