Daze Between New Orleans has delivered the daily lineup schedule for its 2024 Crescent City return. The annual gathering will occur midweek, from April 30 to May 1, during the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. Continuing past venue traditions, the two-day experience will happen at Faubourg Brewing Co.

The event will begin on Tuesday, April 30, with gates cracking at 1 p.m. and music following at 2 p.m., with an authentic New Orleans musical delivery from The Rumble, fronted by Chief Joseph Boudreaux Jr. Following the first frame, Cool Cool Cool will serve their signature blend of funk, house, and R&B on the Daze Between Stage. 

More music will arrive late in the afternoon from Asbury Park, N.J.-natives Dogs in a Pile and Big Easy favorite Dirty Dozen Brass Band. Next, the Krasno/Moore Project will dig into its repertoire of jammed-out covers before the final musical offering of the day, a frame featuring Lettuce with special guest John Scofield. 

Day two picks up at 1:30 p.m. with music from The Iceman Special, followed by a set courtesy of Karina Rykman. Next, Daniel Donato’s Cosmic Country will deliver its assemblage of originals and stretched-out classics. Galactic will take over the Daze Between Stage for an hour and fifteen minutes, followed by an ensuing turn-up a la Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe. 

Daze Between New Orleans will culminate in a blazing conclusion when Gov’t Mule puts on an unforgettable super jam featuring an array of talent from Scofield, Chuck Leavell, Ivan Neville, Denson, The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, and Donato. 

As suggested, Daze Between New Orleans takes place on two stages, where artists can explore the realms of jam, jazz, folk, funk, and more to create a layered musical experience that reflects the city’s eclectic nature. Apart from music, the two-day event offers various beer selections and traditional cuisine akin to the region.
