Coachella Shares Details Behind 2023 Event

Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is back for another year of desert fun and immersive musical experiences. The folks behind the beloved event, which occurs annually at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, Calif., shared that the 2023 iteration will continue with tradition by happening in two waves, and will transpire next April. 

The first weekend of Coachella is scheduled for April 14 through 16, at the height of spring and before the desert heat reduces the ability to groove. Then, the next weekend the second set of dates will occur, when the festival returns for its final 2023 stand on April 21 through 23. 

Following two years of pandemic-induced turmoil, which caused a slew of postponements and cancellations, including the scrapping of the 2020 and 2021 adaptations, the festival inevitably returned this year. The 2022 presentation featured iconic performances by Billie Eilish, Megan Thee Stallion, Harry Styles, as well as Swedish House Mafia X The Weeknd, who filled in for Ye after he dropped out due to an innate feud with fellow headliner, Eilish. Coachella 2023 promises new heights; with the confirmation that Frank Ocean will headline the monumental event, it seems as though next year’s affair will pull out all the stops for a good time.
