Bob Dylan to Join Willie Nelson on the 2024 Outlaw Music Festival Tour

Outlaw Music Festival has unveiled the artist lineup and dates for its star-studded 2024 tour, set to bring some of the finest from country and folk to 25 engagements this summer. The legendary tour, helmed as always by the great Willie Nelson & Family, will also be headlined by Bob Dylan, marking the first extensive collaborative tour between the legends. Other giants featured in this year’s bill include Robert Plant & Alison Krauss, John Mellencamp and Billy Strings, as well as Brittney Spencer, Celisse and Southern Avenue.

Since its 2016 debut as a single, sold-out concert, Outlaw Music Festival has evolved into a traveling tour de force, bringing an unmissable assortment of acts to venues across the country annually. This year’s series will kick off with a June 21 performance at Alpharetta, Ga.’s Ameris Bank Amphitheatre, then truck up the East Coast for three more Southeast engagements through June 26. Next, the tour will hop to Syracuse, N.Y. on June 28, setting off a Northeast and Mid-Atlantic run of six dates, culminating in a July 7 performance at Hersheypark Stadium in Hershey, Pa. All of the dates in this first stint will feature support from rising singer-songwriter Celisse.

The second leg of the 2024 Outlaw Music Festival will be set in the West, beginning on July 29 with a staging at Chula Vista, Calif.’s North Island Credit Union Amphitheatre. These seven shows in California, Idaho and Washington will all include viral country star Brittney Spencer and will conclude with a special one-night-only appearance from Billy Strings at Gorge Amphitheatre in George, WA on August 10.

The tour’s third and final segment will mark a rotation in the lineup from Robert Plant & Alison Krauss–who will depart for the second phase of their 2024 Can’t Let Go Tour–to John Mellencamp, who joins the tour for the remainder of its duration. This final phase departs from the Midwest after a Sept. 6 presentation at Somerset Amphitheater in Somerset, Wisc., plotting six further events before a grand finale at Buffalo, N.Y.’s Darien Lake Amphitheatre on Sept. 17. These last dates will be accompanied by sets from Memphis, Tenn.-based blues and soul quintet Southern Avenue.
