Woodsist Festival Sets 2021 Lineup: Yo La Tengo, Parquet Courts, Kurt Vile and More

Woodsist, the record label founded by Woods’ Jeremy Earl, has announced the lineup for its Woodsist Festival, which will occur on Sept. 25 and 26 at Arrowood Farms in Accord, N.Y. Yo La Tengo and Parquet Courts will headline the festival along with Woodsist mainstays Kurt Vile, Kevin Morby and Woods.

“After the success of the 2019 festival, we’re stretching to include more…. More music, more food, more space, more of everything,” wrote Woodsist in a statement. We’re thrilled to welcome headliners Yo La Tengo and Parquet Courts to the Woodsist Festival orbit, alongside mainstays Kurt Vile, Kevin Morby, and Woods.”

“Last year, as the pandemic slowed things in our world to a crawl, we increasingly found our listening habits drifting towards slower, more contemplative, more intentional selections,” continued the statement. “It’s with that spirit in mind that we are happy to present new friends like the 75 Dollar Bill Big Band, Joshua Abrams’ Natural Information Society, and the incomparable Laraaji.”

Other artists in the lineup include Cassandra Jenkins, Steve Gunn, Bridget St. John and more.
