Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival to Announce Sophomore Lineup on November 10
The second annual Okeechobee Music & Arts Festival will announce its lineup on November 10, with the festival slated to once again return to South Florida on March 2-5.
News broke recently that the festival co-founders Steve Sybesma and Paul Peck were leaving Soundslinger LLC. Peck was largely involved in the curation of the lineup and Sybesma, a veteran music promoter, cited “philosophical differences” in their departure from their company, founded with landowner Cliff Rosen.
The initial edition of the festival featured headliners Robert Plant, Kendrick Lamar, Mumford & Sons and a special PoWoW! Superjam that saw the likes of Eric Krasno, Win Butler, Miguel, John Oates, George Porter Jr., Kamasi Washington and many others come together for a series of jams and covers.
