High Sierra Adds Dispatch, TAUK, Emerald Quintet and More to 2019 Lineup

 

California’s High Sierra Music Festival has added to its 2019 lineup with new acts like Dispatch, TAUK, Steel Pulse, Andy Frasco and the U.N., and more.

The additions also feature a special collaboration that will see Galactic drummer Stanton Moore and saxophonist Skerik reuniting as the Emerald Quintet, which will also include guitarist Scott Metzger, keyboardist Robert Walter and bassist Chris Stillwell, in celebration of the 20th anniversary of their first Jazz Fest performance. Guitarist John Kadlecik will also bring his Fellowship of the Wing to High Sierra, featuring drummer Jay Lane, bassist Reed Mathis and keyboardist Todd Stoops. Other additions to the lineup include Manic Focus, Star Kitchen (featuring The Disco Biscuits’ Marc Brownstein) Too Many Zoos, a live set from Pnuma, Natalie Cressman, Mapache, The Suitcase Junket and more.

The new arrivals join a lineup already featuring Umphrey’s McGee, Greensky Bluegrass, Jim James, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, Galactic, The Del McCoury Band, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, The Marcus King Band, Leftover Salmon, Mandolin Orange, ALO, The New Mastersounds and The Nth Power, among others.
