Bonnaroo Details Campground Plaza Updates

Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival will return to Manchester, TN, this June, and the gathering will once again offer a diverse collection of events and experiences in the festival’s expansive campgrounds with more offerings in the community Plaza spaces.
Following last year’s Plaza curated by Cage the Elephant’s Matt Shultz, this year’s musical guest curator will be Paramore’s Hayley Williams, who will be turning Plaza 2 into Roo’s Sanctuary of Self Love, featuring a BougieRoo area of hair styling, spa treatments and more, along with a Services in The Sanctuary space for dance parties, alternative therapies and panels on mental health.
New to Bonnaroo is the Where In The Woods area, which will host the Where Stage for DJs and surprise sets, while Plaza 9 will be nicknamed Bayou Libre and will be curated by New Orleans collective FREEWATER as a relaxing daytime spot that also holds late-night performances from some surprise NOLA artists. Plaza 7, a.k.a. Whiskey Jam At The Ville, will offer whisky tastings and surprise musical performances.
Brooklyn-based House of Yes is also back at The Farm in 2019, along with Little Cinema, at Plaza 3, where late-night Dirty Circus performances and dance parties (plus Bonnaroo’s first-ever Pride parade) will be paired with interactive movie screenings. Also returning is The Grove at Plaza 7, with its art installations and all-night ambient music experiences, and Plaza 6’s The Boogaloo Of Wonder will again host comedic performances at the fest, with a lineup expected soon.
More information and tickets to Bonnaroo 2019 can be found at the festival’s website. This year’s festival will feature a lineup topped by Phish, who will be playing three sets throughout the weekend, plus Childish Gambino, Post Malone, The Avett Brothers, Odesza, The Lumineers, Grand Ole Opry, The National, GRiZ, Solange, John Prine, Kacey Musgraves, Cardi B, Brandi Carlile and many more.
