Arcade Fire Headline Bilbao BBK Live with Towering, Anthemic Return to the Stage

July 8, 2016

Arcade Fire, collectively, is a devastating tidal wave of energy when they get in front of just about any crowd. Whether it’s the intimate gig they played earlier this week or early on in the Reflektor promotional tour or the massive festival gigs all across the world, the Montreal rockers have risen from indie darlings to full-fledged rock stars. And just may be the last band to do so for some time.

Last night’s triumphant return to the stage at Bilbao BBK Live in Spain proved that no matter how long the band may find themselves away from the stage at any given time, they can reappear and rise to the occasion instantly. The 19-song set touched on every era of the band, from their inception in 2004 to 2014’s psychedelic and pulsating Reflektor, all ending with one of the most iconic rock anthems of the modern era, “Wake Up.”
