Video Premiere: Alastair Greene “Living Today”
Today we premiere the official video for “Living Today” from Alastair Greene’s new album The New World Blues. Greene’s driving blues guitar animates both the song and the record as a whole. He has gained international renown over the years as a guitarist, while touring with the Alan Parsons Project, Starship featuring Mickey Thomas and Sugaray Rayford. Tab Benoit produced The New World Blues and also contributed drums and harmony vocals to the LP, which is being released on Whiskey Bayou Records, the label co-founded by Benoit.
Greene tells Relix, “I am thrilled with how the song ‘Living Today’ came out on many levels. I wrote that song and the majority of the new record in February, 2019 when I was on break from touring with Sugaray Rayford. ‘Living Today’ has become more pertinent than I could have ever imagined. The video came out killer thanks to Erik Nielsen who was able to put together the footage and really tell the story of trying to stay positive during incredibly tragic and trying times.”
The New World Blues is now available to purchase/listen.
