Weedie Braimah gathered a group of Friends at New York’s Blue Note last night as the snow came down outside. The evening featured Christian Scott on trumpet, Pedrito Martinez on congas, Abdoulaye Diabate on vocals, Dwayne “MonoNeon” Thomas on bass, Sam Dickey on guitar, Yacouba Sissouko on kora and Munir Zakee and Luke Quaranta on drums.
