Watch: Wilco Perform Rarities, Play Charades on _Fallon_
In conjunction with their 20th anniversary and the impending release of a big ol’ rarities box set, Wilco hit the stage on The Tonight Show for a pair of performances of rarities including their 2003 cut “A Magazine Called Sunset” from More Like the Moon and, as a web exclusive, the band’s 2002 tune “Car’s Cant’ Escape.” The band will hit the stage at the Capitol Theatre tonight for the first of three shows.
Frontman Jeff Tweedy also partook in a little game of charades with Fallon and guests Charles Barkley and Ewan McGregor. Tweedy nails “Cat in the Hat” while Barkley struggles with guessing “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” but delivers a stellar performance on “Ice Ice Baby.” Watch the full replay below.
