Watch Spafford Make Their MSG Debut at Knicks Halftime

A band’s first show at any big-name arena is a big deal—no matter the circumstances—and there aren’t many bigger-name venues than “The World’s Most Famous Arena” itself, New York’s famed Madison Square Garden, which got its first taste of Arizona jamband-on-the-rise Spafford this weekend. 

The quartet definitely made the most of their short time at The Garden, which came at halftime during the Knicks’ game against the Miami Heat on Friday night. Spafford first offered a truncated version of their tune “Leave the Light On” and later launched into an extended “Ain’t That Wrong,” giving the MSG audience plenty of solos punctuated by singalong choruses.
