For fans of Parks & Recreation, the long-awaited appearance of Donna Meagle’s brother Lavondrius is something to cherish. Landing that role is sort of like playing the mother in How I Met Your Mother, except a lot more alive. Well, on Tuesday night we finally got a look at Lavondrius and he was played by none other than Questlove.

In past seasons, Donna has professed her hatred for her brother and in this episode went as far as to remind everyone that he wasn’t allowed to attend her wedding. When she felt herself bored over the lack of drama, Lavondrius appeared to create some. Not only did Questlove get to play one of the more coveted roles in Parks and Rec history, but he also got to smash a microwave, presumably settling a score that led back to their childhood. “Now nobody gets popcorn,” he says as the credits role and he walks out over the remnants of the battered appliance.
