MGMT stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last night to perform a track from their new album Little Dark Age, which was released earlier this month, and the band added an extra treat, playing their classic “Electric Feel” with Late Show house band Jon Batiste & Stay Human. 

“Electric Feel,” which appeared on MGMT’s 2007 breakout album Oracular Spectacular, could be heard basically anywhere and everywhere 10 years ago, but the tune gets new life with the addition of Batiste’s twinkling piano and his band’s horn section and extra instrumentation. The two groups even extend the song a bit, adding some collaborative grooves near the end.
