Jimmy Fallon paid tribute to the late David Bowie with a surprisingly lovely rendition of “Life on Mars?” featuring Fallon busting out his finest Thin White Duke impression. Joined by Coldplay’s Chris Martin, Fallon comes up to ask the frontman what he’s working on, and when Martin busts into the first chords of the Bowie tune, Fallon joins in.
Right as the guitar solo hits, The Roots guitarist Captain Kirk jumps in for a quick cameo. Watch below.
