Jack White sat down with Anthony Mason on CBS This Morning this past Saturday to discuss the latest box set, The Rise & Fall of Paramount Records, featuring over 800 songs gathered from the vaults of Paramount Records. The brief segment is highlighted by White discussing his vision for the project, which he undertook about three years ago, saying he hopes to preserve this music that would otherwise disappear to inspire the musicians of the future.

White seemed to be in a good mood throughout, joking that he was trying to prove how “ludicrous” he could be with his free time by taking on a project this demanding. When Mason mentioned that he was awakening many ghosts by unearthing so many new artists, White joked, “Don’t I look like one?”
