Watch Eddie Vedder Perform Pearl Jam’s “Man of the Hour” on ‘Roadies’

September 6, 2016

The season finale of Showtime’s Roadies took place on Sunday, with the show’s first season coming to a close with an episode that included a cameo from Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder, who performed PJ’s intimate tune “Man of the Hour” at the funeral of Phil, played by Ron White.

Vedder and Roadies creator Cameron Crowe have a long history, of course, as Crowe helmed Singles as well as Pearl Jam’s anniversary documentary Pearl Jam Twenty. Pearl Jam’s manager Kelly Curtis is also listed as a producer for the show.

The cameo comes as the last of a long list of musical appearances on the show’s first season as Scott Metzger and Nicole Atkins, Lindsey Buckingham, Lucius, Joy Williams and The Head and the Heart have all found airtime on Showtime’s ode to the road crew. Watch Vedder play “Man of the Hour” below.
