Watch Eddie Vedder Cover Springsteen, The Who, Talking Heads and More at Hot Stove, Cool Music Benefit Show

April 30, 2017

Eddie Vedder headlined the annual Hot Stove, Cool Music benefit held this year at the Paradise Rock Club in Boston as opposed to its recent home in Chicago. The benefit, which is run by Chicago Cubs president Theo Epstein and MLB reporter Peter Gammons in the name of their Foundation to be Named Later, took place in Boston this year as the Cubs were in town to play the hometown Red Sox.

Vedder once again returned and played a lengthy set with the house band and hosts as he rolled through his own tunes like “Corduroy,” “Not For You,” “Wishlist” featuring Gammons and “Better Man” along with a wide-ranging selection of covers from The Who and The Rolling Stones to Bruce Springsteen, Buffalo Tom, Pink Floyd, Talking Heads and Aerosmith. Vedder also welcomed out Epstein on guitar for Buffalo Tom’s “Taillights Fade.”
