Watch Sheryl Crow and Jason Isbell Rip Through Bob Dylan’s “Everything is Broken” on ‘The Tonight Show’

Sheryl Crow just released her latest album, Threads, at the end of last month, marking what the singer-songwriter is calling her final full-length studio effort. If so, Crow went out of the LP game with a bang, offering a highly collaborative collection of tracks featuring legends like Willie Nelson, Stevie Nicks, Eric Clapton, Emmylou Harris and more. Crow brought one of those collaborations to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon yesterday, welcoming fellow Americana star Jason Isbell to perform their duet cover of Bob Dylan’s “Everything is Broken.”

With Crow on acoustic guitar and Isbell chiming in with his electric Gibson Les Paul, the two led Crow’s band in the surf-rock-tinged cover, with the two vocalists trading off verses as well as ripping solos—Isbell on guitar and Crow on harmonica—throughout.

Watch the performance below. Both Crow and Isbell have live shows set for this week, with the former set to play two shows at Los Angeles’ Ace Hotel starting tomorrow night and the latter playing Canada’s Harvest Jazz & Blues Festival in Fredericton, NB.
