Watch Robert Plant Sing Elvis Tunes with a Rockabilly Band at His Ex-Wife’s Birthday Party
Recently, Robert Plant attended a party celebrating the 70th birthday of his ex-wife Maureen Plant at the Fox Inn in Stourton, England, and the Led Zeppelin frontman marked the occasion with a surprise sit in during a performance from The Hayriders, with Plant adding his legendary voice to a few Elvis Presley covers.
As Britain’s Classic Rock magazine reports (via JamBase), Plant fronted the group for “One Night With You,” “Little Sister” and “Big Hunk O’ Love,” not surprisingly nailing a pseudo-Elvis impression mixed with his own still-smooth-as-hell style (though, as one YouTube commenter notes, not so much the classic Elvis onstage dance moves).
