Watch Paul Simon Perform “That Was Your Mother” with Stephen Colbert and Jon Batiste

Paul Simon may not have a new record to promote, but that didn’t stop him from having some fun on The Late Show, performing “That Was Your Mother” with host Stephen Colbert and bandleader Jon Batiste.
The tune comes off Simon’s indisputable classic Graceland and, clearly, everyone – including Batiste on accordion and Colbert on washboard – enjoyed revisiting the song.
At a certain point, the 77-year-old Simon even busts out some of his best dance moves. (Perhaps he’s preparing for his headlining spot at this year’s Outside Lands Music Festival.)
