Earlier today, CBS This Morning aired an interview with Justin Vernon and the members of his band Bon Iver, who all sat down to talk with Anthony Mason before their sold-out performance at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center last weekend.

The brief conversation ranged from light topics like the band’s chronically mispronounced name (Bon Iver is a take on the French phrase “bon hiver,” meaning “good winter,” which Vernon took from a scene in the ’90s television show Northern Exposure) to Vernon’s period of being fed up with the music industry (which led to canceled tour dates in 2017), plus the challenge of creating intimacy in arenas like Barclays Center that Bon Iver are playing on their current tour behind the album i,i. The group also notes the collaborative, family aspect of the touring band, with Vernon ending the segment by saying, “This is great; I wish we could do it forever.”

Watch the interview below, along with CBS’ footage of three highlight performances from the Barclays show last weekend, “iMi,” “Blood Bank” and “Salem.”
