Video Premiere: Sleepy Sun “Seaquest”

On June 9, Dine Alone Records will issue the new studio album from Sleepy Sun. Private Tales is the fifth record from the San Francisco-based psych rock quartet and quitarist Evan Reiss notes, “I appreciate the spaciousness that is left for the listener. I like music that gives them an opportunity to breathe, as opposed to jamming ideas into someone’s ears at all times.”
Today we premiere the official video for “Seaquest.” which is the first single off the record. It was directed by Brandon Moore, who previously worked on the band’s “New Age” and “11:32” videos.
The band tells Relix, “The video was shot on location, in two days in March, aboard The Miguelito in San Francisco Bay and in a private pool in Lafayette, California and tries to capture the dreamy, aquatic, feeling of the song.”
