VIdeo Premiere: Raul Midón “Mi Amigo Cubano”

The renowned guitarist and songwriter Raul Midón released his new album on September 30. Don’t Hesitate includes a song co-written with soul legend Bill Withers. Today we premiere a live video of the tune,”Mi Amigo Cubano.” Midón tells Relix, “When Bill Withers called and told me that he wanted to write a song with me I was stunned. I was further befuddled when he said I want to write it in Spanish. The idea for the song came from him. He had this buddy that he used to work with. They got a lot of pleasure from working together with their hands. ‘Mi Amigo Cubano’ is about rekindling the memory of an old friendship.”
