Paul Johnson and The About Last Nights have drawn comparisons to a range of gritty rockers like  Foo Fighters and Butch Walker. Their debut record, Give Up The Ghost, will be released this spring. The Hattiesburg, Mississippi-based group recorded the album in Atlanta, Georgia at RCRD Recording Studios, with Tuk Smith (The Biters) serving as producer. Today we premiere the band’s debut video and first single, “Burn It Down.”  Johnson reflects on the song and tells Relix, “Really, it’s adolescence. Being young, bored and hopeful that one day things will be whatever we make it, but right now is all that matters. Looking back as adults, we sometimes see that maybe those were the best times of our lives. Getting through those years feels like an eternity, but in the grand scheme of things, it is only a moment.”
