Video: Andre 3000 Talks Hendrix; Delta Spirit Performs on Letterman

David Letterman was all about the music last night on Late Show as the host welcomed out guest Andre 3000 of OutKast to discuss his new role as Jimi Hendrix in the biopic All Is By My Side. Benjamin schooled Letterman on Hendrix knowledge including stories about Eric Clapton and that time Hendrix covered “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” just three days after its official release.

The host did call out the famed rapper when he mimed Hendrix’s guitar style, but did so right-handed, drawing a laugh.

From ATL to California, rockers Delta Spirit performed “From Now On” from their stellar effort Into the Wide, which is available now. The band then took to the stage at Music Hall of Williamsburg that night for a full night of rock and roll. Watch the replay of both segments below.
