The Heavy Hours will return to the stage in February for an extended tour supporting Brett Dennen. In anticipation of those dates, the group will release a new single on Wednesday.  “Take My Heart (I’ll Take Yours Too)” is the follow-up to this past August’s Wildfire EP, which was produced by Simone Felice.

We’ve previous singled out The Heavy Hours for their “literate, engaging songwriting” which is true of the new single as well. The band tells Relix that the song is “about turning points, changes, and choices; it explores how pain can sometimes be felt during the good times – and also how love can be conjured, even in life’s darkest chapters.”

Today, we premiere the official video for “Take My Heart (I’ll Take Yours Too).” The single is now available for pre-save.  The band’s upcoming tour dates appear below the video.
