Emerging Americana artist Kevin Daniel has just released the official video for his new single “Pour Me A Drink.” The moving song explores themes of love, loss and redemption. Ben Rice (Norah Jones, The Candles, Aoife O’Donovan) produced “Pour Me A Drink” at Degraw Sound in Gowanus, Brooklyn, with Daniel joined by his seven piece band, including former Spin Doctors guitarist Anthony Krizan.

Ryan Hoffman directed the video which also features actress and dancer Zena Wood. Daniel explains, “I wanted to shoot a video that was simple and really featured ‘Pour Me A Drink,’ the actual song, above all else. Zena is a great person and an accomplished dancer and I knew she’d have fun playing the ‘girl on my mind.’ Basically, she’s the manifestation of sorrow for the singer, for the better and worse. Nick and Ryan really nailed the lighting and location, and it was great working with them and their crew. I love this song and I always have fun on set, which I think vibes with uplifting melody of the song, despite its lyrics.”
