This past Saturday, Troy “Trombone Shorty” Andrews hosted his annual Tremé Threauxdown at the Saenger Theatre in his hometown of New Orleans during the first weekend of the city’s Jazz & Heritage Festival 50th anniversary celebration. Along with his own Orleans Avenue band, Andrews welcomed some special guests throughout the evening, including Jon Batiste, G. Love, Lauren Daigle and Sean Ardoin.
