Ten Days of Bonnaroo | Oysterhead’s One and Only ‘Roo

June 2, 2016

Oysterhead was always the supergroup that felt way too good to be true, a once in a lifetime meeting of three of the strongest at their respective instruments. Anastasio on guitar, Claypool on bass and Copeland on drums was a match made in musical heaven, or just maybe something that rose from a musical hell.

They were as graceful as they were ferocious and daring, and they came to Bonnaroo in 2006 after a five year hiatus to play their last show ever (for now, at least) to a massive crowd. In a year where Radiohead seemingly towered over all (more on that later), it was Oysterhead who notched a memory in those watching them on that day.

Relive their entire set below.
