Vulfpeck will release their debut full-length album tomorrow through their own Vulf Records (the digital version comes out on October 9 with the physical version set for November 20). Thrill of the Arts features the core band building their signature in-the-pocket funky grooves alongside such guest musicians as Blake Mills, David T. Walker (Jackson 5, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder), Charles Jones (Raphael Saadiq) and Antwaun Stanley. Today we premiere “Game Winner” with Walker and Jones. Vulfpeck’s Jack Stratton tells Relix, “As David T. was walking to his car after our first session, he looked back a said, ‘call me when you’re doing a ballad.’ We did.”
