The Motet’s next studio album will be released in May 2018, however, the group is already sharing some select cuts. Today, we are premiering “Get It Right,” the buoyant second single from the forthcoming record. The band tells Relix, “‘Get It Right’ is a true mantra of genuine self-expression, for those who listen to it and for us! We really felt inspired to meld old with new, taking the incredible influence of 70’s and 80’s funk and soul and bringing out a fresh and unique flavor to it. Go ahead and crank this one loud, dress how you want to dress, dance how you want to dance, express how you want to express, and be the most fulfilled version of yourself!”

The Colorado-based collective is currently on an East Coast tour and on Friday night will perform at halftime during the Knicks-Nets game at Madison Square Garden prior to a gig that evening at Irving Plaza with Dopapod. The Motet’s upcoming tour dates appear below the audio and will culminate with a four night New Year’s Eve run.
