Smashing Pumpkins and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds played Long Island’s Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, NY, on Friday evening. Gallagher and company offered some newer tunes from his recent EP, Black Star Dancing, plus Oasis cuts like “Wonderwall” and “Don’t Look Back in Anger” and a closing cover of The Beatles’ “All You Need is Love.” Smashing Pumpkins, touring in support of their record Shiny and Oh So Bright, delivered some of their own hits like “Tonight Tonight” and “1979,” plus a cover of James Taylor’s “Fire and Rain.” Bill Kelly shared some photos from the night.
