Ryan Adams Taught Ingrid Michaelson How to Make Slime on Twitter

In these turbulent times, it’s important to help out a neighbor in need, even if that means lending them your slime recipe on a Saturday night.

Ingrid Michaelson sent out the slime bat signal on Saturday night for a reason that remained unspecified (not like anyone needs a reason to make some slime) and Ryan Adams sprung into action. His directions were thorough and specific, so if you’re looking for a slime recipe, look no further.

Michaelson also posted a few pictures of the final products and it looks like some real high-quality slime.

SLIME:
Measuring cup
Water (1 cup total)
Elmer’s glue (1/2 cup)
Borax
Green food coloring
Two mason jars

1. Pour 1/2 cup water into one of the mason jars. Add in individual drops of food coloring until the liquid is your desired shade of green. https://t.co/E20Wrn8TmS

2. Add in 1/2 cup Elmer’s glue and stir until thoroughly mixed. https://t.co/E20Wrn8TmS

3. Pour 1/2 cup water into the other mason jar. Then, slowly stir in (1/4 tsp or so) of borax at a time. https://t.co/E20Wrn8TmS

Make sure that the borax is totally dissolved into the water before you add in more.The more borax, the thicker the slime will ultimately be https://t.co/E20Wrn8TmS

4. Take the water with the dissolved borax in it, and pour a little at a time into the water-glue mixture, stirring constantly. https://t.co/E20Wrn8TmS
