Rock and Roll Playhouse’s Grateful Dead Father’s Day (A Gallery)
Earlier this month, The Rock and Roll Playhouse took their family-friendly shows on the road, offering a number of concerts around the country that celebrated the music of the Grateful Dead with various band lineups playing cuts from the legendary group for parents and children alike. A sampling of the nationwide offerings: At Pennsylvania’s Ardmore Music Hall, The Disco Biscuits’ Marc Brownstein and Lotus’ Mike Greenfield teamed up with Tom McKee of Brothers Past and Mark Diomede; out west in Boulder, CO, DeadFloyd offered their own performance; and in Berkeley, CA, Ross James was joined by a group of Friends including Grahame Lesh, Alex Koford and Adam Roberts. Stefan Suchanec (Ardmore), Dog Daze Photography (Boulder) and Samuel Jameson (Berkeley) shared some photos from their respective RRPH Grateful Dead Father’s Day shows.
