Robert Cray Band and Typtophunk Play New York City (A Gallery)

On Friday night in New York City, several stellar bands were hitting the stage as Robert Cray Band kicked the festivities off at B.B. King’s in Times Square. Over the bridge in Brooklyn, New Orleans supergroup Tryptophunk played the Brooklyn Bowl. The ensemble, which features George Porter Jr., Papa Gros, Brian Stoltz, Terrence Houston, Mark Mullins and Craig Klein, were joined by Scott Metzger on guitar for a portion of their set.
