Premiere: Emily Wolfe Brings The Thunder with “Holy Roller”
Austin’s Emily Wolfe has elicited comparisons to PJ Harvey, Rilo Kiley and Jack White. NPR hailed her music for its “stormy, seductive blues-rock thunder, with riffs for miles.” Today we premiere her song “Holy Roller.” As she tells Relix, ““I want ‘Holy Roller’ to be a siren for change. The lyrical message comes from a personal place of defeat, but the music comes from a place of empowerment. I think it could be a really important thing for the world to hear.”
