Phil Lesh & The Terrapin Family Band wrapped up their three-night run in the New York City area on Friday with a special benefit concert supporting HeadCount’s voter registration efforts, taking place at Harlem’s famed Apollo Theater and featuring returning special guests Eric Krasno and Nicki Bluhm, plus Robert Randolph and appearances from Talib Kweli and the Harlem Gospel Choir. The night also included a round of “Happy Birthday” for Relix publisher and HeadCount co-founder Peter Shapiro at the beginning of the second set.
