Following Dr. Christine Blasey Ford’s testimony in front of the Senate Judiciary Committee, a recent GoFundMe page for the professor has skyrocketed, vastly exceeding its original $150,000 goal.

And despite a flood of donations intended to “cover the immediate security and personal expenses” of the Ford Family, the top donor still appears to be none other than Phil Lesh.

It seems that on Sept. 23, the Grateful Dead bassist (or at least a Deadhead favorable to the Phil Zone) donated $10,000 to the college professor and her family.

For those living under a rock, earlier this month Dr. Ford accused Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of attempted rape in the early ’80s. After stepping forward, she has become a galvanizing figure for liberals and conservatives alike.
