Osiris Spotlight: Papadosio, Phish Tributes and New Music From Robert Walter

This week, we’re highlighting a few recent episodes from the Osiris podcast network, including a debut tune from keyboardist extraordinaire Robert Walter, an interview with Papadosio, and guitar talk and a live performance with someone well-acquainted with Trey Anastasio’s riffs.
- In a surprise update between full episodes, Inside Out With Turner and Seth had the honor to debut “Most of All of Us”, an exciting track from master organist Robert Walter’s upcoming album Spacesuit. His band is called 20th Congress, and the album comes out September 25th. Hosts Rob and Seth discuss the band and their music, along with Walter’s collaborations with Mike Gordon and others.
- Prolific music podcaster Ira Haberman talks to the genre-less band Papadosio on episode 124 of The Sound Podcast. Brothers Bill and Sam Brouse, along with band member Anthony Thogmartin, discuss the group—recently re-situated in Asheville, NC—its music, which is a blend of EDM and prog-rock, and how they fit into the jamband scene.
- In episode 32 of Guitarcast, Andy Keathly talks to and plays Phish songs with guitarist Kevin Winzer, who does all the Trey Anastasio parts for The Great Divide, a Los Angeles-based Phish tribute band. Kevin and Andy perform “Back on the Train,” “Chalk Dust Torture” and “Birds of a Feather.” Also included: The Great Divide performing “Maze” live at Saint Rocke in Hermosa Beach, CA.
