You probably know actor David Boreanaz if you’ve ever tried to watch sports on TNT and had to sit through the last three minutes of Bones. Or if you know someone who is way into Buffy the Vampire Slayer. 

But you also may have come across the actor on tour with the Grateful Dead. Appearing on Stephen Colbert’s show last night to support his upcoming show SEAL Team, the host outed Boreanaz’s Deadhead days by bringing up an old photo of him from his younger days. 

“I saw some East Coast shows and I went to one West Coast show but that was when it was just Jerry Garcia Band,” Boreanaz said. When pressed if he ever took acid during his Dead experience, he joked, “I met the Keebler elf and I got the fudge stripe ingredients.” To be honest, fudge stripes are the top tier
